With over sixty years of history, the Festival de cante grande in Ronda is one of the oldest flamenco festivals in the province, as well as one of the longest running in Andalucia. Held during the month of August, the Festival de cante grande is a great way to enjoy flamenco music in Andalucia, especially some of the best flamenco voices in the world. The town of Ronda, perched upon the cliffs between the cities of Seville and Malaga, hosts the annual event and serves as the perfect backdrop for flamenco from the region. The festival has hosted many of the best singers in the flamenco world as well as young talent, with recent artists such as Chano Lobato, Fosforito, Jose Mercé, El Capullo de Jerez and more.
