About the Show

The tablao flamenco El Soniquete Andaluz has a magical location in a historic Granada cistern at the foot of the Albayzín, in the heart of the Paseo de los Tristes. The owners and artistic cast of the establishment have been offering an unparalleled flamenco experience for more than a decade. The show combines an air of renewal with respect for the essence of this traditional art form, without compromising its passion and elegance.

A small, enchanting cave where the rhythms of the guitar intertwine with the zapateado and the quejío of flamenco singing, offering a truly intimate and warm atmosphere for all types of audiences. El Soniquete Andaluz is a charming space where one forgets about the world outside its doors and lets themselves be carried away by flamenco.

A visit to this tablao can become the highlight of a visit to Granada. The shows are offered daily and may be complemented by dinner. You can order a delicious range of Mediterranean dishes from the restaurant menu.

We’ve been 3 times during our 4 months in Granada. We never saw the same performers which made each show unique. Pay to sit in the front - it’s awesome to watch it up close! An awesome experience.

I am not a flamenco expert but this show was amazing. We were sitting in the front row (it is worthh it to pay just 2€ extra to be in the front) and we could definetly feel the passion of the show. There was a guitarist, a singer and a dancer and they were all performing together complementing each other. It was brilliant. I was especially struck by the ability of the guitarist! The bartender was also very nice and very efficient!

What an absolutely amazing place. Musicians were phenomenal and the Flamenco dancer unbelievable. The whole show was superb. In addition to one of the best meals I've had in Spain. It's my second time in the country and I've been to Barcelona, Madrid and some of the other largest cities but I have to say this place and Granada have won my heart. Drinks are also fantastic and staff is super friendly!!!!!

Excellent flamenco show; very passionate, authentic and professional. Very good food and service. Small intimate place with a lot of character and charm. Clean, well stocked bathrooms. Highly recommend it!

Le Chien Andalou was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. Front row tickets are 12euros, if you want them you have to buy those an hour before the show starts. Otherwise is 12euros and it’s a first in best dressed scenario. I sat at the third set of tables and it was fine. I could see enough. The show itself was great! Guitarist was fantastic, flamenco dancer was good, she picked up her performance towards the end and went out with a bang. Singer was consistent through out. Drinks are also reasonably priced, you don’t have to order a drink, it’s not mandatory.
