A Flamenco Show in Sala Fortuna 

The Sala Fortuna is situated in the town of Benalmádena offering one of the most popular flamenco performances in the Costa del Sol. Shows are scheduled three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with a start time of 22:30. The flamenco show is currently that of the Carmen Mota Spanish Ballet group, a production featuring a mix of flamenco and Latin American dance and music. The show is designed to take guests through several styles of flamenco from different parts of the world, on a journey from "Jerez to the Americas". The first part consists of different Spanish classical dance numbers based on famous works of flamenco by piano, operetta and opera. The second part is compsed of "los cantes de ida y vuelta"; a fusion of different styles of popular flamenco which were introduced to America by the Spanish emigrants. These variations were later returned to mainland Spain and now form an important part of Flamenco music and dance. The latter part is accompanied by a Flamenco singer from Jerez, a guitarist and the flamenco box (cajón) as percussion.

The venue was professionally designed with excellent lighting, acoustics and unobstructed views from almost any angle. The flamenco show lasts an hour and thirty five minutes, with a short break in between. Afterwards guests who have attended the show can stay for bar service and music, or enjoy free entrance in the nearby casino, including 50% discount on their first drink in the Casino.
