A Flamenco Show in Cardamomo Tablao Flamenco 

Cardamomo has been an integral part of the Madrid flamenco scene for over 15 years, and has been recommended by the NY Times as part of their "36 Hours" city travel series. The venue is known for attracting some of the best young talent in Spain and features a varying list of artists. Aside from special performances the establishment always brings in a new performer every week. The list of nationally and internationally known artists who have performed in Cardamomo over the last fifteen years is certainly impressive: Ketama, Tomatito, La Barbería del Sur, José El Francés, El Bicho, El Cigala, Antonio Carmona, El Capullo de Jerez and many more.

The atmosphere in the one hundred seat venue is intimate, relaxed and casual. Cardamomo is known for attracting a younger crowd with string interest in the local flamenco scene. The tablao / bar is also much more than a performance space. The entire culture of flamenco is represented with plenty of special events: flamenco conferences, art exhibits, photography, benefit and tribute concerts are part of the regular rotation. This is perhaps why Cardamomo is self-proclaimed as a "cultural center for restless souls".

Cardamomo holds regular performances from Tuesday - Saturday nights, and offers two types of entrances. The regular show entrance requires a 28 Euro minimum bill. There is also the option of the show + dinner for 58 €. The location is in the heart of the city center, close to the Puerta del Sol, one of Madrid’s most famous districts. This area is a bustling hub of city life, close to many monuments and offers the convenience of two city metro stops.
